The Food Pantry's sole purpose is to provide food to persons in need that live within the five zip codes that border St. Michael's church.  We are staffed with volunteers, most of whom work only one shift a week, although we have a few who work a shift every other week and a few who work a couple of shifts a week.  We need more volunteers, especially those who can speak Spanish.

We provide food to about 50 families a week, except during the holiday season when we provide Thanksgiving turkeys and food to nearly 70 families a week.  the Food Panty receives funds from donations from the parish and from the Craft Fair.

This ministry is a great way to serve the community and involves as few as five hours a month.  Please consider joining our great team.

Food Pantry Hours are:  Monday Through Friday, 9:00 am to 11:30 am

Clients must have address identification and live within the following zip codes:  75040, 75041, 75042, 75043, 75044, 75047, 75088, 75089, 75149, 75150, 75159

Donations to the Food Pantry are always welcome.  There are two donation baskets located in the narthex.  Your gift of canned food items are greatly appreciated.
