The Finance Committee is composed of parishioners to advise the pastor in matters pertaining to the financial affairs of the parish. The goals of this committee are to:
- review financial statements and budgets
- work with the parish general managers to develop procedures for church funds
- evaluate and make recommendations regarding the needs of the parish efforts of church support through the Sunday offertory and other fundraising activites
- develop appropriate plans of the financing of necessary repairs, renovations, purchase of equipment and future buildings of the parish
- communicate the financial status of the parish to the parish advisory committee and the parish
- ensure the required financial statements are prepared and submitted to the diocese.
Members are appointed by the pastor.
