The Music Ministers at St. Michael come from all walks of life and all levels of musicianship. There is literally something for everyone who wants to contribute to the liturgy in music.
The Contemporary Music Group provides ministry at the 8:30 Mass every Sunday morning. Guitars, piano and electric piano are the accompanying force, and while most of the music is selected from Ritual Song other Contemporary Christian music is used. The St. Gregory Choir sings at the 10:30 Mass every Sunday morning. This group sings in 3 and 4 part harmony and the organ is most often used. All the traditional hymns are selected from Ritual Song; Gregorian Chant is also used. The choir rehearses Tuesday evenings in the church from 7:00 to 8:30 and Sunday mornings in the chapel from 9:30 to 10:15.
